Diamond Botanicals X Two

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I finally got to a NBUS stamp and die set from 2021.
Sadly, it's probably been retired in the meantime.

First up...

I stamped and heat embossed with white and watercolored with Arteza Twimarkers.

I cut the frame with the matching die and used one of the sentiments from the
set in the center.  For the dots, I added some color to a scrap of mixed media paper
and die cut with tiny circle punches.

And since I am way behind on making Christmas cards.....

I stamped this one with Memento Toffee Crunch and again colored with
the Twimarkers.  A Penny Black sentiment fit perfectly inside the frame
and the dots were cut from a scrap of red foil cardstock.

Challenges:
Double D - Frames
NBUS #75 - Never Before Used Schtuff

Card Recipe (card 1)
Stamps:  Diamond Botanicals (TE)
Ink:   Whisper White
Paper:   Mixed Media, Watercolor (Strathmore)
Other: Diamond Botanicals Die (TE), Arteza Twimarkers (Olive Green, Cornflower, Violet)

Card Recipe (card 2)
Stamps:  Diamond Botanicals (TE), Season's Gifts (PB)
Ink:   Memento Toffee Crunch, Handsome Hunter
Paper: Mixed Media (Strathmore), Cover from Mixed Media Pad
Other:  Diamond Botanicals die (TE), Arteza Twimarkers (Pine Green, Olive Green, Forest Green, Jungle Green, Ruby Red, Raw Umber)

Enjoy!

I love the diamond shaped centrepiece and the pretty colours used on both of the cards Bonnie, and with just a change of colours it looks great as a summer or winter/Christmas creation...a beautiful card. x

Bonnie, I am also way behind my goal for Christmas - you found a really pretty way to make up for the deficit! Your thinking card is wonderful, but I love your holiday version the mostest!

Really love the Christmas card. The first card reminds me of something my grandmother would have had in her collection of cards.

They're both gorgeous! And maybe it's a good thing it's retired, otherwise you might have enabled me to go find it myself! Thanks for sharing these stunning creations!

I can't believe you let this sit unused until now, Bonnie. It is such a great image and very versatile as shown by your two versions. I love it as a Christmas card.

Oh my, loving both cards. I don't remember seeing this stamp and die set. Love that it can be used for any season. Would love to see it in fall colors. That's a hint for you to make one. Ha!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

WOW! Both are gorgeous! I love the first card, with the olive green and purple accents. These stamps are very versatile, depending on the sentiments used. Thank you for the beautiful inspiration.

Gosh, it's amazing how this works for summer or Christmas. A diamond never looked so beautiful! What a gorgeous stamp and die set. I have a lot of aging NBUS, too, Bonnie. The set you've used today will be stunning forever. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Double D!

Love the diamond shape for the sentiment - must remember to try that as it's very striking. Both Christmas and non-Christmas versions are really beautiful, each in great but very different colours!

Two contrasting cards… the first one is soft and subtle while the second is bold and vibrant. Great versatile stamp.
