Garden Poems

Hello.  I hope you are having a good day.

When I saw the Penny Black Saturday challenge
'Anything Goes'...Optional 'Use Something Old or Neglected'
I immediately thought of this stamp.
I believe it was the first Penny Black stamp I ever bought.
It had been neglected for too long.

I stamped it with Archival Gray ink and used Distress markers and my
waterbrush to color it.

When it was dry, I added some white dots with a gel pen.

If you'd like to see other cards I made with this stamp, look here, here and here.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

So pretty in pink Bonnie and the prettily etched die cut frame really shows the beautiful blooms off well, and with a great sentiment and some soft watercolouring of the background too. x
