Twofer Critters

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Guess what Darnell's Twofer Challenge is this month.

This fun stamp is from Technique Junkies.  I performed surgery on the stamp to
separate the ostriches and the sentiment. For these cards I didn't use the
sentiment that came with this set.

My Onefer....

For this card I stamped both ostriches on Mixed Media paper with Sahara Sand ink.
I stamped the sentiment, tore the bottom and sponged some ink along the edges.

My Twofer...

I fussy cut on ostrich out for this card and used a piece of
mop up paper towel transfer for the background.

I've cut the arch from a piece of textured paper I found in my stash and
used a larger die to emboss around the die cut.

The witches hat has been stamped, colored and fussy cut.

And a Threefer...

While I was going I fussy cut the other ostrich from the previous card and
jazzed her up with a necklace of rhinestones.

This is actually my favorite of the bunch!

Did you guess what the challenge is this time?

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Somehow I was going to comment on your twofer and more and I ended up at the 2019 retreat pictures that I'd never seen. Loved all of those.

Great cards. Love how you performed surgery. The background on your Threefer is lovely. [Bunny]``

Not just a twofer but a wonderful threefer Bonnie using these cute and fun ostriches, and love the embossed background and the way you have torn the bottom and inked it, and then the bright towel transfer background and the witches hat fits perfectly, then the last over that gorgeous background and the rhinestone necklace is fabulous. x

What an brilliant image Bonnie and you have done it full justice! Love how the ostriches are leaning in on the first card, making the perfect shape for your sentiment. The backgrounds on the second and third cards are so inspiring and doesn't Mrs O look fabulous in her witches hat and also her bling?!

Who would have thought ostriches could look so adorable!! And the special Bonnie touches...the necklace on one...and the torn mat bottom sponged with ink. These kind of things are so clever and add much to the look.

First of all, I must have had my head buried in the sand, as I've NEVER seen these fabulous feathered friends of yours... and am so happy to have made their acquaintance today - three times charming, delightful, and extraordinarily colored to boot!!
Bonnie... dare I say it? Winner winner Ostrich dinner? yes, I guess I did!
LOVE the three-fer, too!

If there's anything I like better than an owl face it has to be an ostrich one. They are so cute with their long eyelashes. They made three wonderful critter cards, Bonnie, and if it wasn't a rubber stamp I'd probably buy it.
