Scandinavian Christmas

Hello friends.  I'm so glad you stopped in.

Today I'm playing with Jo's Christmas Kickstart Challenge.
Scandinavian Holiday

I pulled out an old Stampin' Up! set and colored it with markers.

I also used some SU heart dies to cut the image out and another heart to
give it a little contrast from the embossed white background.

Pretty simple and fun to do.

How's your Christmas stash coming?

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Northern Hearts (ret. SU)
Ink:   SU Markers (Pacific Point, Real Red, Cucumber Crush)
Paper:   Neenah, Crumb Cake (SU)
Other:  Holiday Knit #2 EF (TH), Sweet and Sassy Framelits (SU)

What a unique Christmas card...different! Purr-fect EF for it and love the second heart die in same color as bow to set off the image.

Wow! Bonnie, this is absolutely stunning - I just love the folk art birds and sprigs, and the subtle embossed background, and the twine is the perfect finishing touch :)

There it is!! I was so hoping someone would bring out their embossing folders - this one is particularly perfect, Bonnie! Lovely Scandi-stamping, too!

Wow, I love this card, Bonnie! It's so beautiful and perfect for the Scandinavian challenge theme. The dry embossing on the white background and the bright coloring are so refreshing. It's a great idea to layer the Kraft heart in-between to pop the main image.
