Another of our grandsons is a teenager!
I CASEd this card that my friend Nance did recently.
I used a NBUS balloon die to cut a piece in the background box that had been
covered with glitter film. After die cutting the numbers from some gold foil,
I placed the balloon on an embossed background. Easy peasy and I'm happy to say
that he loved it. (Of course that had nothing to do with what was inside!)

What a great birthday card. The gold and glitter paper are lovely and fun and so great for a birthday. That was one of the first embossing folders I bought!

The large glittery blue balloon looks great Bonnie and love the embossed background and the numbers and coordinate perfectly with the matted layer. A wonderful card for a teenager. I'm sure he did love the card as well as what was inside it. x
