What the Doodle Ornament

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This card came about from finding just the sentiment on a background
in my UFO (UnFinished Obects) box.

I can't find the stamp so I'm not sure where this sentiment came from, but it had been
stamped and heat embossed with a glittery embossing powder.

The ornament stamp was in my NBUS box where it had sat for far too long.
I think I bought it on clearance and I don't see that it's available anymore.

I stamped the ornament with VersaMark and heat embossed it with
white embossing powder then very carefully added a bit of watercolor.
I had to be very careful because it's Neenah cardstock, not watercolor paper.
I used ink smooshed into the lids and picked up with a damp waterbrush for color.

Then I even more carefully added a bit of wash around the ornament, used
a die to emboss a frame and glued on a silver bow.

Challenges:
Krafty Chicks - Occasions (Must have stamping)
Peace on Earth #2 - Inspired by the pine cones
NBUS - Never Before Used Schtuff

The soft colors on the ornament are beautiful, Bonnie. Isn't it good to start using some of those UFOs to you, B&P (bits and pieces) to me?

Oh my gosh I LOVE that ornament. That has to be the prettiest one I ever saw but it's your artwork that made it look so beautiful! Love the soft color in the background, another one of those techniques I've never mastered. Gorgeous!

This is such a pretty bauble that it was obviously a good time to get it inked up and I love the soft blue colour and the added silver twine, and the darker blue sentiment to finish..two wonderful gems too. x

This bauble looks wonderful, as if I moved back to my childhood years. Moving the bauble a bit to the left from the center perfectly balances the sentiment. Beautiful card, Bonnie.
