Crackle Branch for CAS Mix Up

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

We're back at CAS Mix Up!
We've missed you!

Loll is our host this month and this is what she chose...

Our Design Team is rested and ready to inspire you.
And our Guest Designers,
have added some wonderful inspiration too!

To make this card, I smooshed some Distress Oxide ink on my craft mat and
mixed in some Crackle paste. Once the color was mixed in well,
I spread it over a stencil and set it aside to dry.

There was a messy section which led me to do some partial die cutting to
get that out of the way.

I mounted it on foam over a piece of dry embossing.

My mixed media are stencil, crackle paste, dry embossing and stamping.

Now it's your turn.  I hope you'll get out your pastes or gels and your favorite
stencil and have a play.  Then join us at CAS Mix Up.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Happy Snippets (PB)
Ink:   Shaded Spruce (SU), Mowed Lawn (DOX)
Paper:   Neenah Solar White
Other:  Leaves Stencil (SSS), Crackle Paste, Stripes 3D EF (SU)

Enjoy!

Those leaves are fantastic, Bonnie. I love crackle and even think I bought some crackle paste but never thought to bring paste with me. I'm not sure what stencils I have with me either but maybe I can work something out. I'm so glad CAS Mix-Up is back. I hope CAS Christmas is too.

WOW - love this Bonnie - your stencilling with the crackle paste is impressive - even if you have to be inventive to exclude an oops :) Love the texture in the end result.

Brilliant design, Bonnie. Using the crack paste on the template that you then precisely cut gives such an amazing impression. I love that the twig part was placed higher above the embossed background. A bright and very inspiring card!
