Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
There's still time to use your embossing pastes or gels
and join in at CAS Mix Up.
I've used glass bead gel again...
I used a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Ink to add color to a piece of Neenah cardstock.
I cleaned the stencil and placed it back over the image and added some
Glass Bead Gel through the stencil with a palette knife. The gel is clear and the
colors show through beautifully.
(It is important to wash the stencil immediately
after using the gel!)
I learned not to try to cut through the dried image with my Cutterpillar.
The gel stuck to the rotary blade and I had to get it off and clean it.
So a word to the wise, cut your piece before you add the gel!
Our Design Team has created some beautiful cards with pastes and gels
using a variety of techniques. Do check them out and I hope you'll
join the fun at CAS Mix Up!

A very lovely card, Bonnie.
I've yet to find my pastes/gels, Bonnie! But your reminder gives me the incentive to hop to it! I am so blow away by this glass bead gel!
SO beautiful!

What a clever way to add colour. I hear you re forgetting to do something first. That often happens to me, usually because I haven't quite worked out what I want to do! Lovely card xx
SO very beautiful Bonnie.

This is not only gorgeous but it looks so fun to do too! Love the sparkle of the glass beads and thanks for the tip of not using a good cutter blade. Fantastic card, Bonnie. You never disappoint.
LOVE your panel of glass bead stenciled wildflowers, Bonnie. The colours and the shine are amazing. Thanks for the tip about not cutting glass bead gel with a rotary cutter. You have saved me a lot of grief. :) xx
Your flowers look like blown glass, Bonnie. So beautiful!
Hello gorgeous! LOVE the colors on this one to bits Bonnie!
Just beautiful, love the technique... gel beads over the stencilling colouring.. wonderful card Bonnie, hugs Robyn
Bonnie, the glass beads give your flowers so much dimension and totally change the depth of colour- Love it ♥
Simply beautiful Bonnie. Loving the glass bead gel here with such gorgeous colours. Lovely sentinent font.
A fabulous result using the clear glass bead gel Bonnie, and I love the colours you used for the flowers..so pretty! x
Ummm, yeah, I learned the hard way too that you should cut your cardstock first before adding your glass bead gel...I ended up having to put a whole new blade in my Carl Cutter! But anyway, your card is STUNNING Bonnie...the sparkle on your blooms is SOOO pretty! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Great card, Bonnie, love the stenciled flower and gel. Oh, and great tips too
What a gorgeous card Bonnie, I love this bead gel and the sparkle it gives. Always loved it when Loll used it. It is so pretty! Oh, never thought about cutting through a panel with it on there! I guess it would make a mess of the cutting blade and the Cutterpillar cuts really well too. Thanks for the advice, as if I ever get this gel I will know not to cut after putting the gel down. I hope your blade is fine and just got "sticky" only. Not sure how glass affects a blade. Hugs, Brenda
Love how your Glass Bead Gel (Golden) gave such a beautiful shine to your stenciled flowers, Bonnie. Thanks for the cleaning tips too:-) It is so great being inspired again by all our creative and fun DT girls and followers:-) Love and Hugs..Nancy
