Wreaths for CAS Christmas

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

We're already almost halfway through the year and my
Christmas stash isn't half full.  I need to step it up!

I love wreath stamps, die, embossing folders.

You name it, if it's a wreath, I'm in.  So I was happy to see that my friend
Linda chose wreath for the CAS Mix Up Challenge.

I didn't need anymore wreath dies, but I thought I needed this one
from Tim Holtz anyway.

I may not need it, but I'm enjoying it anyway.

I've die cut from Neenah Solar White and colored with Copic Markers
in an ombre fashion.

After coloring, I stacked two together (made myself dizzy turning it
around and around to get the best placement).

I die cut a sprig of berries and colored that with Copics too.

It all fits on a piece I'd stenciled with embossing paste for some
rustic texture and I added a brass foil noel.

Here's a closeup so you can see the texture and shine....

A twofer....

This time I colored with lighter greens and added some poinsettias with
glittery stones in the center.

I've embossed the background for a more elegant feel and added the
sentiment on a stitched circle in the center.

I loved the first one and then I saw the second one. Two fabulous wreath cards, Bonnie. The texture paste made a great background for the darker one and those white poinsettias look stunning on the lighter wreath.

I'm betting I don't even have to say which is my favorite? You undoubtedly know by now that I'm as bad with Poinsettias as you are with wreaths!
Both stunning, Bonnie!

Two fantastic different looks using that pretty wreath Bonnie. The green looks great and I love the addee berry branches and the added texture using the paste, and then the softer green wreath and the gorgeous white poinsettias with gold centres, and a love sentiment on the central circle..my favourite I think though they are both beautiful. Thanks for visiting us again this month at the NBUS Challenge. x

Two beautiful cards using your new wreath die, Bonnie. A girl can never have too many of one stamp or die! :) This wreath is so pretty and I love how it looks so different depending on the colour. Fabulous texture from your stenicled paste background on the first card and your lovely embossed background on the second. xx

I saw that lovely first card with the cool textured base. Then I saw that cutie with the poinsettias...love.

Love these wreaths and since I don't have wreath dies I won't feel guilty for getting them. I don't have Susan's talent for creating them myself with smaller dies and punches. Love the backgrounds and the poinsettias on the second one.
Both cards are so well done!

I love the results of embossing paste and that stencil you used on the noel card. Both wreaths are so pretty and changing the decorations on them made two completely different cards.

Ack, these are so pretty! I recently bought these wreath dies, too. I love how you crafted these perfectly CAS cards. That's a very delicate bit of stenciling on the first card, and the second is especially lovely with the soft wreath and white poinsettias. I'm kind of a wreath addict, too.

Two beautiful variations! I love both colour schemes and both ways you did the sentiments. Great rustic feel on the first from that embossing folder! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Christmas!

Both are such lovely wreath cards, Bonnie! I completely understand your saying "I didn't need any more ..., but..." ;-) It was a worthy investment!
Love the ombre colored wreath and the rustic texture of the background of the first card. The shine of the brass foil sentiment adds the perfect festive feeling.
The white poinsettias of the second card with light green wreath are so refreshing and pretty! I'm always happy to see your card in the CAS Christmas gallery. Thank you! Hideko xx

I know what you mean about not needing it but buying it anyway Bonnie!! That's half of my craft room!! Both of these cards are so pretty with this 'had to have it' wreath - The card wreath with red berries ang gold sentiment look lovely against that interesting embossed background and your lighter wreath with the beautiful white poinsettias could even be a card for Easter with these colors - and another wonderful subtle embossed background! Thanks for playing with us!! xx

two wonderful Christmas card, Bonnie. It turns out that this wreath from TH is really beautiful! I like both versions with blueberries and flowers equally. I even have the impression that white poinsettias can also be used in the spring version.
