Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
This is my second card using Jen B.'s sketch. I couldn't share my first card.
More about that below.
I used an calendar page from 2023 that was in my UFO box.
I cut the image with a stitched circle die and another circle from some blue cardstock.
(It's really not as dark as the photo shows.) An embossed background was split
to make two strips and I added a strip of blue between them for some contrast.

I've learned that you can't give the same title to two different blog posts with Blogger.
It gives a weird permalink and there's no fixing it. I tried changing the name and it
still wasn't happy. Fortunately Jen picked a great sketch and I had some time to
use it again.

You persevered just beautifully, Bonnie! You are truly my glass-half-full friend, and I love that you made a second card - thanks twice as much for playing cards with us at FMS!

Oh I love agapanthas, my Mom had a few clumps of them in our backyard in CA. They always remind me of her. Sweet card.
Another beautiful card using your old calendar pages. Love the pretty bloom. Glad you persevered to share this beauty.
Too bad about the other card, Bonnie. I used to struggle with blog post names but now I just use the challenge name and number. That makes it so much easier. Glad you still had time to whip up this beauty. I love those flowers!
What a beautiful card Bonnie! I'm sorry you had blogger struggles (Don't we all at some point?!!), but your perseverance paid off and the card just couldn't be any more lovely!! Hugs. :0)
Beautiful - my favourite colour and one of my favourite flowers!! I ran into that same problem with Blogger when I accidentally used a post title I'd used before - who on earth is able to remember all the post titles we've ever used?! Glad you were able to get this posted in the end as it's such a lovely card.
Beautifully colored agapanthus, Bonnie! A favorite flower in my garden that the deer have never yet eaten. Interesting about Blogger titles. After many years it's easy to inadvertently have a duplicate blog title.
Beautiful agapanthus flowers and such a pretty white embossed background which shows them off brilliantly Bonnie, and the blue matted layer and strips highlight the flowers perfectly, It is difficult to remember what titles you have used for a post, and sorry that you couldn't find a way round it. x
What a beautiful blue agapanthus. I always love how you use embossing on your backgrounds. It works so well to add interest without overshadowing the focal point. Love the dark blue contrast too xx
Love the blue and white on this card! Those flowers are so pretty and I love the background embossing! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
the flowers are so beautifully coloured in blues and such a pretty layout xx
Great up cycling of your calendar, and the card is as beautiful as the image was on the calendar! I love the fun sketch, can't wait to see the next card and the embossing is so beautiful behind your flowers
Beautiful card made from your calendar, and I never knew about yet another blogger quirk. Thanks for the heads up, so that at least I’ll understand if it happens 😳🙄xxx
I can't remember yesterday, let alone a title I've used before so I'm in trouble! This card is gorgeous and great that you were able to reuse a calendar page.
I love your pretty shades of blue surrounded by all of that crisp white! This is fabulous, Bonnie!
I love the contrast on your card. So much elegance with the white and dark blue. I love the embossing in the background, it complements the card perfectly. I just realized that it was from you, my dear Bonnie, that I learned to add embossing to the background. Thank you for such great inspiration!
hugs,

A perfect interpretation of the sketch and one gorgeous card! Those florals are fabulous!
That is the prettiest color blue you used on the flowers. For a minute there I thought you were talking Greek! Never heard the name of that flower before. Bravo Miss Priss!
Sandy xx
Gotta love good ol’ Blogger!… but joke’s on it as you were able to create this second beauty!
Beautiful! Your colouring of the Agapanthus is amazing. Great use of the sketch! Blogger has more and more problems these days --- ho hum ... xx
