I saw this card by SoSherry on SCS a while back and printed it. In her post she put the link to the template. You can find the template here.I cut some Whisper White cardstock using the template. The pinafore lifts up to open the card.
For the dress I used some of the decorative paper left over from the cards and adhered it to the card base. The 1/2" Circle Punch worked great for the neckline.
I used light weight Vellum for the pinafore and ran it through the BIG GUY with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. I used the Scallop Circle Punch for the collar and pierced each scallop. I also pierced the sleeve ends to look like lace. I made the flower on the pinafore by gathering a piece of Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon. The collar daisy stickers were buried deep in my stash.
By using the paper piercing, I can use this for the Ways to Use It Challenge to Stick it. I had all kinds of ideas for using one of those stick pins from the retired Pretties Kit. Somehow I can never get the look I like with them. Guess I'll have to put the kit in my Retirement Sale.
No stamping for this card. Just cutting and folding.
Hope you are having a wonderful Friday.
