I didn't think I'd get anything done for the
Memory Box or Poppystamp challenges this month.
But I did manage to get a couple quick cards done.
You've got to love those dies for easy cards!
My first card uses a Memory Box die on a Dirty Pour piece of canvas paper.
Insects/Butterflies/Dragonflies
When Nance and I Skyped with the gals at the Retreat,
we did lots of dirty pour. Here's a sampling.
Here's Nance mixing up some paint.
I cut into a piece of pattern paper I've hoarded saved in the stash for about ten years.
It sure is pretty paper and looks perfect with this beautiful Poppystamp die!
The die cut was an extra that was tucked into the envelope with the die.
It made for a super quick and easy CAS card!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Two beauties, Bonnie! Especially love the dragonfly one - that background looks amazing! Thanks for the referral to the MB challenge too - just made a bday card for my mom that I'm blogging tomorrow and it fits.
Wow, you did some acrylic pouring. I am so impressed and I love the way it looks like grass behind your dragonflies.
Bonnie, your dirty pour looks amazing behind the die cut. You have inspired me to use some of mine. Beautiful card :)
Oh Bonnie what gorgeous cards - love the movement in the dirty pour - it looks as though the dragonflies are dancing over rippling water.
The drama of the white against the pretty paper is stunning
Blessings

Two striking cards! Simple with lots of WOW built in. On the first card, love all the touches of black against that beautiful, soft colored dirty pour background. Particularly love the black stitched mat. And on the second card, the white die cut against that good looking paper are great together. Two terrific examples of "Bonnie's special touches"!
The dirty pour is so beautiful. The black against it looks gorgeous. The pink paper is so soft and pretty.Perfect for your white die cut flower. This dirty pour looks kind of messy but brings such beautiful results.
Two beautiful cards, Bonnie! Love the dirty pour background... such a cool effect and perfect for your dragonfly. And way to use your pattern paper... I rarely ever think to use up my supply of them. xx
Gorgeous cards with your dirty pour background and pretty DSP. TFS the photo of all your dirty pours and Nance playing. It was so fun having you girls joining us via Skype:-) Hugs..Nancy
Fabulous cards, Bonnie. It's great to see your dirty pour photos and the beautiful card you made with one of them. And good for you for making a card with some patterned paper - I used to love doing that but now mine all sits languishing in a drawer. I'll try to get a card made for that challenge!!
Two gorgeous cards Bonnie.
Thank you for joining us over on Poppystamps challenge blog.

LOVE your dirty pour background paired with the black silhouette of the dragonflies. A very striking card, Bonnie! What fun you and Nance had with the dirty pour! Lots and lots of pieces for cards and some wonderful canvases to hang on the wall. Looks like you had a fun and messy time. :)
I can see why you were hoarding the patterned paper ... gorgeous colour with the subtle and beautiful design. Looks perfect with the white die-cut framed flower. Two gorgeous cards, my friend! xx
What vibrant and fabulous dirty pours...you sure had fun x The black die cut and framing on the first card against the wonderful dirty pour on the canvas looks amazing. Such a elegant and pretty second card too Bonnie x
Love the dies you used on both cards Bonnie! and that dirty pour is awesome!!
Congratulations on your successful paint pouring. My friend and I had a huge mess! Yours turned out beautiful, Bonnie. That you for the reminder to pull out that super cool frame here and use it again.
You guys sure had a grand time with the dirty pours (wish I could have joined you!) and you certainly got some good results. I love the one on your card - it's a lot more subtle & marbled than my first try. (hope to do it again). I love the card you crafted with that piece as the focal point too. Very striking. And #2 is just so pretty with the coral patterns and that wonderful Poppy flower. Love how you've done the framing to accent that lovely paper. TFS & Hugs
Two beautiful cards Bonnie. Love the background for the dragonflies. The white die cut looks great on the pretty paper. TFS.
So pretty, both of them!
Yes, two great cards. I love the delicate background of the first card, so delicate and so beautifully contrasts with the black frame. The second card looks so beautiful with this wonderful background that looks like a ghost technique.
Hugs,
BożenA
The dirty pour looks fun - and messy, Bonnie. The background looks like just the right place for the dragonflies.
