Christmas Peace

Hello Friends.  I'm so glad you could stop by!

There's still a little over a week to join in Colleen's challenge at

I found a piece of Inka Gold Smoosh in my backgrounds and cut it
with the smallest of the Mat Stack Dies.  It's cut a little narrower to
get the gold spots in strategic places.

I used the larger die to dry emboss a frame around the design piece.

The sentiment is heat embossed with gold and I've dipped the edges of
the design piece in an embossing pad and then into the gold embossing powder
for a subtle gold frame.

To me, the birth of Jesus means peace.

Our fabulous Design team have lots of wonderful inspiration for you and
we're joined by talented Guest Designer, Linda.

I hope we'll see you over at CAS Christmas.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Your inka gold background is so beautiful, Bonnie to spotlight that sweet, little manger scene. Hope you have a great week. We are finally back to some rain for a while. Still have snow in the yard. They keep threatening more snow in a week or so, but we shall see. It changes on an hourly basis.

The peaceful nativity scene die-cut looks fantastic against the beautiful Inka Gold Smooshed background, Bonnie! I LOVE the colors of the background! The larger frame dry embossing and the subtle gold heat-embossed edges are excellent details.

What a beautiful piece of Inka Gold smooshing from your backgrounds box! It looks lovely cut into that unusual shape instead of just a rectangle. And it makes the perfect background for the die cut nativity scene.

Strategic die cutting really gave this peaceful setting the perfect placement. Loved that you dry embossed the white panel with the frame too. The touch of gold around the edge complement the sentiment so well too. A beautiful card dear Bonnie. xx

Not only is your background beautiful but that die cut frame is so perfect for this, reminding me of a church window. Love the gold edging and I need to make a mental not to try this. Such a classy touch to it!

A beautiful combination of two blanking dies. Your background has the shape of a window and blends in beautifully with the other die.
