CAS Watercolour.
Jenny is our host this month and she chose...
I have a confession to make.
I never quite understood the color wheel theory.
I've always figured if I looked at it and it turned my stomach
that it wasn't a good combination. So I had to really study this
color wheel to get this right. Here's the wheel, in case you need it too.
I used Red-Violet and Yellow Green.
I've put the stamp in my MISTI and inked this flower with Distress markers.
After stamping, I used a damp waterbrush to pull the color to the center
of each petal. I used the same technique for the stem.
Our fantastically talented Design Team have some wonderful
inspiration for you as always and we are joined by our
equally talented Guest Designer, Anita (Stampin with Anita)
Enjoy!

Love your card Bonnie, such pretty colours and the image so delicate - just gorgeous, hugs Robyn
This is so pretty, Bonnie! You used the complementary, and tertiary colors, so the soft contrast goes well with the other elements such as the shape of the flowers, the round panels, and the delicate style of sentiment. Beautiful design, as always!
Hidkeo xx
That shade of red violet is so pretty for the flower Bonnie and the complementary yellow green for the stem and such a great idea to use the same tone of red violet for the base card, and finished with the white embossed sentiment which stands out so well also love the sequins too. x
i had to find out who made that flower, it's so delicate. Beautiful watercolouring Bonnie. I know I should pick up a colour wheel there are so many combo's I just don't think of. Great challenge this month.
So pretty, Bonnie. Your flowers pop on the purple card base. Great choice of complementary colors. xx

Love this card! The color wheel is an interesting and good choice for the Challenge...I can relate to your comments about it. The simple, pretty stamp colored with your wonderful technique set off by the white circle and that gorgeous color of card base. Very striking result.
Very pretty. Love the colors you chose and your lovely watercolored flower image.
That gorgeous grape card stock is just that --- gorgeous! LOVE this card Bonnie. The touch of green is perfect,
Lynn
Bonnie, I adore that little bloom - not one thing about this color combo should turn your tummy! It is gorgeous!
I'm to be extra challenged with this one, too - since my favorite color is gray!

This is so pretty and the colors do compliment each other. That Lavinia stamp is so lovely.
This is devine. I love the deep outline of this flower with the soft pastel colouring. The design has much detail yet remains subtle. Beautifully done. And what can I say about the beautiful fonts in all of your sentiments, Love this! xx
Love the violet and green together - great choice of complementary colours! Great layout with the circles and the scattering of sequins.

Aack, how have I gotten so behind, Bon?! I love this cool Lavina spray both here and in your post with the bird! Here the purple is dramatic and breathtaking with the white circle! I love the candy cane you did, too! And I'm so glad to know the storm has passed and you are all fine and breathing again. I can't imagine the terror and the photos come out of the Bahamas are just heartbreaking. Hugs, Dolly
