Magnolia Blossoms on Sand

Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!

When I saw that the Flower Challenge was asking for brown and pink, I thought
it would be a perfect opportunity to try coloring on colored cardstock.

I stamped using Memento ink and a new to me stamp that was one of my
winnings from Kathy Racoosin's last 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

Coloring was done first with a white Caran d'ache Supracolor pencil and followed up
with shades of pink.

There are some gorgeous cards by the Design Team and in the gallery over there.
Be sure to take a peek and maybe join in.

Challenges:
Flower Challenge #48 - Brown & Pink
NBUS #18 - Never Before Used Schtuff (Magnolia stamp)

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

This is beautiful and coloured so prettily on this green card Bonnie, and I love the white frames and the sequins too which finish it perfectly. x

WOW! You hit one out of the park with this one, Bonnie. Your coloring is superb!!! Your use of white adds a glow to this and once again you make me want to run and get this stamp! I studied this for a long time since often times pink is hard to shade but you nailed it!

I feel like I could reach right into my PC screen and pick that flower and it would smell good...that is how real it looks! The few sequins and the 2 thin frames set it off beautifully. And using a white pencil first rather than bleaching is such a good idea. Have a lovely day, my friend.

Absolutely lovely card! I do have a question...is your card actually layered or do the frames create the illusion? I do like this look!

Beautiful card, Bonnie. Your coloring is fantastic. Things are certainly better for us. We got rain last night and the air is a little better, but at least the fire danger is not so bad.
