Butterfly Flourish

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I stamped this beautiful image and let it dry, then lightly added some
Distress Ink with a blending brush.

The butterfly was stamped again on a snippet of patterned paper from
my stash and fussy cut to add over the top. I did the same thing for the
butterfly body.  The antenna are bits of black twine.

I added some splatters and a couple of thin frames.

My mixed media are Paper Piecing, Stamping, Ink Blending, Splattering,
and Die Cutting.

Challenges:
CAS Mix Up - Paper Piecing
NBUS #25 - Never Before Used Schtuff

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

What a classy looking card...that background image is so "right" for that beautiful butterfly. I like the 2 thin frames that set it off.

WOW! Talk about beautiful designs. This is fabulous, Bonnie! Just paper piecing that butterfly made this look incredible! Love the framing on this too. I have such a hard time with those fine frames but sure do like the way they look.

This card is so different from your recognizable style, Bonnie. At the same time, she is so beautiful! I love how you added an extra layer of butterfly and the string mustache looks really lovely. A beautiful, very inspiring card!

Wonderful paper piecing of that butterfly! Love the collage look of the background. And great job getting two of those thin frames laid down - I find it hard enough to get one down nicely!
