Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
My friend Ruthann came to play this week. One of the things we worked on
was the geometric sponged background. Eileen Godwin has done a video showing
this technique.
I used two shades of green for my background then die cut the ornament
from snippets of foil and glitter cardstock.

Love the glitter and foil on this one! I have this ornament and it’s one of my favorite. Never thought to do it like you did. I also LOVE that background stencil, so subtle and perfect for a background. I also love that background technique. Combined this sure does make a beautiful card!
Great background technique and what a stunner of an ornament and card. Always good to craft with friends Bonnie x.
Beautiful Christmas card, Bonnie! Thanks for sharing Eileen's video!

This punch die on a geometric sponge background looks amazing. This is a new version of the old tool and as you can see, the background is very important for the entire receipt of the card.

Like the soft, artsy background and soft color panel with the glitter and shine of the ornament...interesting contrast!
Love your soft green stenciled geometric background, Bonnie. Perfect for your bright and shiny pretty die cut ornament. So fun to be able to craft with your friend. TFS my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy.
I mean, seriously, Bon, you should be in the business of designing pp! That background stands proud, even against the boldness of that gorgeous bright ornament! Frame it! Hugs, Dolly
Beautiful background to show off your glitter ornament. Eileen's videos show such fun ways to make a background. Great work!! xx
This is just so beautiful! Soft, lovely background for your glittery ornament. The star shimmer is on my list, sigh.
Very pretty sponging technique, I love that you used it only to highlight the left! Then your foil and glitter cs really bring you in to focus -- very nice card, Bonnie
