Ginkgo and Pussy Willows

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues.

This month, our creative Carol picked these colors...

These colors are perfect for the upcoming St. Patrick's day but sadly I
needed a sympathy card.  The ginkgo was a perfect fit for the green, and
Nance suggested pussy willows for the berry dies.  Both were die cut from Neenah
Solar White and colored with Copic markers.  The Pussy Willows were cut
from white felt for a fuzzy feel.

The very talented Design Team and our equally talented Guest Designer, Nance
have some beautiful cards to inspire you. Check them out then join us at
I can't wait to see what you can do with these colors!

This challenge is open until March 14th at 9:00 AM EST.
I hope to see you in the gallery.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Deepest Sympathy (HA)

Paper: Neenah Solar White

Those pussy willows cut from felt are so pretty with the ginkgo leaves against the texture on the embossing folder.

Bonnie, I'm so sorry you needed a Sympathy card but you made a beautiful one using the colors. Love the textures and simplicity, that speaks volumes

What a great idea to use felt on your pussy willows, Bonnie. They are a great accent to the green ginkgo leaves. Together they made a wonderful sympathy card.

Oh my gosh, these are amazing! They look so REAL! I love this! So sad you needed a sympathy card, but the recipient will feel treasured when they receive this!
