Floral Garden Finished Cards

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Thanks for following along with my coloring each day.

Here's how I used the design...

The design is so large that it worked great for two slimline cards.
(These are a Monarch size slimline.)

For this card, I cut a heart from it.  Believe me I was a nervous wreck during
all this cutting!  But I'm happy to say it all seemed to work out.

I'll send this one to my aunt.

I matted this one as the previous card with Gorgeous Grape cardstock and
made it into a birthday card.  I embossed the whole design with subtle texture,
using a slim strip over the meeting place.  You can see the texture better here....

On to another coloring project.
Do check out Kathy's Day 4 coloring.  Sigh, it's looking gorgeous!
I think I know what to pull out next.

Oh my gosh. I could think of no other way to use this gorgeous artwork other than slim line cards! Chopping it up any other way would not work and how beautiful these are! I too would have died cutting that heart into it after all that coloring. I’ve done that but not often. How satisfying it must be to finish such an exquisite project!

I would have been a nervous Nellie cutting and embossing this piece after all the beautiful water coloring you did, Bonnie!
You know best - always! They are both gorgeous! Don't keep us guessing too long!

I love your two cards with your finished coloring project. I guess you were nervous cutting into that lovely piece, but it turned out beautifully. I love your birthday card with the embossed strip. Thanks for sharing these beauties.

Sorry I've been a bit of a slug about commenting lately...been in a bit of a funk with some health issues, but hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things soon! Your cards are both absolutely GORGEOUS Bonnie!! I've never done Kathy's 30 day coloring challenge, but it's definitely paying off big time for you!! Both of your slimlines are just SO pretty, and I love the die cut heart on the one card (I would have been a nervous wreck too cutting into that perfectly colored panel!)! These are both frame worth in my humble opinion Bonnie...lovely, lovely cards!! Hugs. :0)

Two wonderfully designed slimline cards Bonnie, and the heart cut into the first stands out brilliantly, and then the subtle background embossing on the other with pretty added sequins. I love the look of both..terrific work! x

You where very brave to cut up the work of art and then to die cut the heart into one of them Bonnie x. Both cards are very beautiful and your Aunt is so lucky to receive one of them x.

I can't stop looking, Bonnie. These cards turned out so beautiful! It had to have been hard to cut the image and then cut the one again with the heart. However, your bravery paid off and will make two people very happy when you send them these treasures.

These are so gorgeous I think I would actually have one of them framed. It would be the birthday card going to your aunt. Am I your Aunt? I could be. Hugs, from Aunt Bun Bun

Two amazing cards from your watercoloured panel Bonnie! Your watercolouring / shading of the flowers and leaves is STUNNING! LOVE both card design. Good for you cutting the heart ... can imagine it was a little stressful. It looks perfect. And love the second one with the black happy birthday banner. xx

Great idea to turn your lovely floral piece into slimline cards! The first one is gorgeous with the heart cut and raised from it. And the second has a great sentiment treatment.

I would have hated to cut that beautiful panel up, Bonnie, but the cards you made are stunning.

These cards are stunning Bonnie! This image is stunning the way you colored it. I love the "hidden" heart, I guess you were nervous, but it did all work out perfectly. These beautiful blooms work for all kinds of sentiments I think! Especially with the way you colored them. Not sure what a Monarch size slimline is though. Hugs, Brenda

WOW! I was sure you would create beautiful cards, but what I saw exceeded my expectations. I love the convex heart emerging from one of the cards, it looks wonderful. I love the dark blue frames that enclose the images of your watercolor

Gotta love a twofer… and slimlines to boot! Gorgeous watercolouring. Great use of the camouflage die cut technique to add the heart. Your aunt will love it. Love the textured cardstock.
