My apologies to those of you who don't like seeing Christmas cards in the summer.
It helps me to make Christmas cards all year so I don't have a big push
in December. I got caught one year and learned my lesson.
I found this tree all cut out and glued together in the folder with the die. The little
birds were cut too and waiting to perch on some snowy branches.
A snippet of a background was a perfect fit and I liked how it looked on the dark navy
background. The background was pierced with my snowflake backplate. The photo refuses
to show the subtle pattern.
I pieced the sentiment from two different sets. Amazingly it came out straight.

I love seeing Christmas cards anytime, and especially now in this horrible heat it's nice to imagine sitting in snow. LOL. I love your cardinals sitting in that snow covered tree. It's a very peaceful, cool scene.
I can't imagine why you put this away without finishing the card, Bonnie. I'm so glad you found it and put it together. It's such a lovely card with all the Cardinals that always appear even redder in the snow.

Christmas is ALWAYS wonderful! Love the pretty tree/birds on the blue background and the subtle texture, which I can get a peek of when I zoom in -- very nice!

I love the pine tree but LOVE LOVE LOVE your background. It has such an ethereal look to it. I'll guess brushos but not sure. Great card, Bonnie and I agree about doing cards all year long.

A beautiful glittery white tree in the frame and the red birds stand out so prettily against it Bonnie, and the blue background is just perfect and a darker shade of blue to complement the whole thing as the base card..a gorgeous Christmas card. x
