Easter Flowers

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Today I have two Easter cards that were made from leftover pieces.

The Easter egg was done so long ago that I can't remember how I did it.  Probably
I smooshed it into a bit of leftover ink.  The paper is textured and shiny and I
have no idea where it came from.  It makes a pretty Easter egg though.

The crocus bud was also a leftover.  I die cut another crocus from the set and
sponged a bit of ink on the pieces, then touched it with a slightly damp waterbrush.

I had a snippet of the shiny textured cardstock to stamp the sentiment on.
After I die cut it, I added a bit of leftover color on the waterbrush to the label
to make it blend in.

Another card with an assortments of leftovers.

The tulips were laying on the table as well as the notched corner die cut.
I embossed the dark card in the background but my camera is not seeing it.
I stacked two Easter die cuts and added to the front.

Two beautiful Easter cards with those lovely flowers. Love the colors. The shiny egg is a perfect background for the crocuses. Those WF tulips are so pretty.

You've put those leftovers into two fantastic Easter cards, Bonnie. The dark purple crocus stands out against that speckled egg and both are great symbols of Easter. The burgundy background for the tulips adds a lot of drama to that card.

Wherever the egg and the leftover bits and pieces came from doesn't' matter because you put them to good use! These are both wonderful, Bonnie!

Both are beautiful, Bonnie! I wish I could see the shine in the first card, but I also know how shimmer hides from most cameras. The second is just WOW -- makes my jaw drop. Love the contrasts in the second card too

You have the prettiest card parts, Bonnie! Best crocus dies ever, and the tulips are gorgeous! Love how the background sets off the tulips. Darned camera. It's hard to show embossing on dark cardstock. I have some of that semi-gloss textured white paper and have used most of it. It's been a favorite. Thanks for sharing your spring flowers with us at Double D!
