Full Bloom for Krafty Chicks

Hello friends.  Today is my last day as Guest Designer for Krafty Chicks.

My dear friend Nance is hosting this challenge and she picked these
gorgeous colors.

I love this stamp from Penny Black and I haven't used it nearly enough.

I placed the stamp in my MISTI and inked it up with Zigs one section
at a time.  After stamping, I moved the ink with a damp waterbrush and
continued stamping until I was happy with the results.

I had trouble getting the leaves just the right color and had to keep trying
until I found an old inkpad that seemed to be the right shade of green.

It's been fun joining in with the gals at Krafty Chicks.
Thanks for the opportunity.
I hope to see you in their gallery.

I've never been able to get Zigs to work that way, Bonnie, but this is gorgeous. I love the frilliness of those flowers.

Wow, this is fabulous, Bonnie! I love your watercolroing. The brownish green of the background is just perfect for the tone of the pink flowers. And the way you used the vellum strip is wonderful! It looks like a frosted glass vase.

This card reminds me of the paintings of Dutch painters from centuries ago. It has such an amazing atmosphere ... I love beautifully painted flowers with all shades of light and a dark, slightly cloudy background. This card is great!
