Darling Viola

Hi there.  I hope you're having a good day!

I've die cut this sweet viola from watercolor paper twice and colored
with Distress Ink smooshed onto a palette and picked up with a waterbrush.

The background peeking out through this pretty open die cut was
done by smooshing a paper towel that had been used to wipe up some
Lindy's Magicals.  There's some sparkle on it even if the camera can't see it.

I hope you are seeing signs of the World blooming around you.

Challenges:
Poppystamps Challenge #67: Puddle Jumping (I made a puddle with watercolors)

Take care!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

A Very Beautiful card Bonnie. Love those violets. I read once that violets are the only perfume, your mind cannot remember? I can't seem to remember, it could just be me LOL.
Keep safe and well.

An exquisite card Bonnie - love it, especially the die cut and the soft colours behind it.
I am seeing the trees colour and now the leaves are falling... I was picking them up today to use to mulch the gardens ready for winter.
Stay safe

Gorgeous Spring card, Bonnie. I love your mopped up ink with paper towel background for the beautiful die cut panel. It goes beautifully with your die cut and watercolored violets. We have 3 colors of violets...yellow (wild), lavendar and purple violets that have naturalized in all our gardens and even in the grass. They are so pretty and sweet. We are blooming everywhere...flowering trees, wild flowers and many perennials are blooming and are gorgeous along with our green grass and beautiful new leaves on all the trees. Now we are having light rain so we do not have to water:-) Thank you so much for sharing your Spring beauty. I need to add your viola dies to my wishlist:-) Enjoy your Spring...Love and Hugs...Nancy

After seeing your amazing card I did go and look up your supplies so thank you for listing them. OH my gosh you brought that die to life and I love the die you used above it. I love how dimensional your violets are- and I doubt I'd have done something so beautiful. Thanks for all your inspiration, Bonnie! But my shopping list just got longer again (sigh).

"Darling Viola" is a perfect title for your post - the viola truly is darling. I have them blooming in my garden right now and I love seeing those sweet little flowers. You coloured them and the background strip beautifully, and it's such a great card design with the cut out pattern over the background strip. I'm definitely taking more time these days looking at each plant as it starts blooming - it's so good for my spirit.
