Poppies and Kind Words

Hi there.  How are you?

I've been cleaning out my UFO box.

I found this little watercolor tucked away.

I found this piece of Poppy cardstock that was a perfect fit once
I die cut those poppies!

The sentiment is from a company now out of business.
I thought it perfect for these days and times.

The embossed piece was already mounted and ready to go.

I had a piece of this crochet thread that had been soaked in Modge Podge
that I tied around the top.

I was happy to use up several UFOs and some snippets in one card.

Once again your painting is beautiful, Bonnie! I love how you extended the small image with the word stamp. So sad that Verve closed though. This is so eye catching in that bright red. This is such an upbeat card!

Hi Bonnie! What a wonderful card and that sentiment is absolutely so true! I adore poppies - and before long out huge California poppies will be in bloom here, bringing us hope of better weather and less stressful times.
