Spring Flowers for the Flower Challenge

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I hope you are feeling good and getting crafty.

I've been practicing Copic coloring with some of the Power Poppy Digital Stamps.
Marcella is having an awesome sale. Just sayin'....

I had so much fun coloring this image that I dropped a marker in
a place that there was obviously not supposed to be color.

So... I fussy cut the whole thing.

Since I had to cut all that background I'd colored, I colored up
another piece to put behind the cut out.

It took more effort than I'd planned, but it was worth
it in the end.

I liked it so much that I colored it again.

This time I didn't drop a marker!

It's kind of dramatic with the darker card base.

I like that I got two very different looks and used much the same colors.

They are both absolutely beautiful and I can see why you like the image so well! And after all that gorgeous coloring I would have fussy cut the image out too to save it! Love how dramatic the 2nd card looks against the darker card base too. Lovely, lovely cards Bonnie!! Hugs. :0)

I nominate you as card-maker of the year! WOW, new to copics yet managing perfection in such a short time AND you fussy cut all that? It’s amazing Bonnie! Your blending is impeccable and love your shadows and highlights,. Backgrounds have always been an issue for me on images like this but you did it beautifully!

Oh I’ve had many unintended ink mishaps. Fussy cutting it out to save your gorgeous coloring is perfect. Absolutely the dramatic look and how it pops against the color card base. You are rocking the Copics!.

Beautiful bouquets, great colouring, two fabulous layouts, and great fussy cutting on the first one (a good save!). Usually I have a preference when there are two cards using the same image, but in this case, I love both of them equally.

Beautiful image Bonnie! Love your copic colouring ... you are so skilled, my friend! It is amazing the totally different look by just changing up the colour of the card base. Great work fussy-cutting, not easy with all those thin stems! xx

Beautifully done Bonnie - those Spring flowers are literally humping off the card.
I never had much luck with Copics and would always dread trying to coloring them - you really color beautifully!
