More Dragonflies

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This stenciled dragonfly background was in my UFO box.

I'd used VersaMark through the stencil, removed the stencil,
then sprinkled a sparkly embossing powder over the top and heat embossed.

The die cut dragonfly is from a Memory Box Corner die.  It was easy to snip
him away from the grasses.  I smacked him into the embossing pad (don't
worry, I did it quite gently) and heat embossed him with the same powder.
I gave him another coat for good measure.

The cattails die is unnamed.  It was a gift from a sweet friend.

I've done a lot to empty that UFO box.  Unfortunately the UFOs seem
to be multiplying!  Do you have that problem too?

Challenges:
Snippets Playground #434 - (Used a snippet of white cardstock for the die cut dragonfly)

Other:  Dragonfly Stencil (Magenta), Dragonfly Stems Left Die (ret MB), Long Island Teal EP (WOW), Cattails Die (?), Mini Slimline Double Stitched Dies (Kat Scrappiness), Subtle EF (ret SU)

Enjoy!

What beautiful use of your exquisite stencilled piece Bonnie - glad you were gentle when smacking the dragonfly into the pad ;).
YEs, the contents of those UFO boxes must misbehave when the lights are turned off! Mine keep multiplying too!

This is sooo pretty, Bonnie. Why haven't I thought to snip off that little dragonfly? He looks amazing with the turquoise sparkle. You remind me I have an unused cattails die, too. Sheesh. Yes, those UFOs do grow. I keep trying to use them but their numbers never seem to go down.

Thank you for reminding me of a great way of using a part of a frame die!
