Birthday Blooms

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

My friend Bobby chose flowers for the Just Us Girls Die week challenge.
I couldn't not play along.

I had another play with this Whimsy Blooms Bouquet die.  The pieces were cut
from watercolor paper and colored with re-inkers and my waterbrush.

I am still loving this bow!

Challenges:
AAA Birthday #73 - Happy 6th Birthday

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Carefree Wishes (PB)
Ink:   Versafine Smokey Gray
Paper:   Watercolor (Fabriano), Neenah Solar White
Other:  Whimsy Blooms Bouquet (AS), Distress re-inkers (Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss), Sparkly Diamonds Coverplate (PFS)

Enjoy!

Your bouquet is lovely. That background is a very pretty way to show off the blooms. I like the cute bow also. You do so well watercoloring with the re-inkers.

The different shades of pink are beautiful, Bonnie, and I love the half embossed background with the fun folder. It gave a great place for the sentiment. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.

These flowers are really sweet. The layering and use of several shades of color create a three-dimensional effect. I can totally see why you like this bow. It's delicate and looks like it's being blown by the wind.

Lovely flowers, lovely background. Great colouring and shading on the flowers. I really must investigate that bow die - so much easier than tying fiddly little bows out of ribbon!
