Hummingbird

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've been seeing a hummingbird checking around for flowers.
I'm late getting them planted this year so he came to the window to give
me a quick reminder before he darted off.

This little guy is paired up with a NBUS flower die and embossing folder.

Challenges:
Can You Handle the Pressure - ATG Using embossing folder (did not use the option of zoo animals)
CAS on Friday #309 - Things with Wings
Time Out #289 - Your Favorite Winged Thing
NBUS #74 - Never Before Used Schtuff (flower dies)

Card Recipe

Ink:   Cherry, Field, Lemonade (SSS)
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Watercolor (Fabriano)
Other:  Floral Festoon EF (SSS), Delicate Florals Hummingbird dies (SB), Etched Crocus Stems die (SSS)

Beautiful hummingbird and tulips! Lovely colouring and shading! Funny how they remind us to fulfill their needs - I've had hummingbirds making quite a lot of noise outside my kitchen door when their feeder is empty!

For such tiny little creatures, they sure are kinda bossy, aren't they?! I haven't seen any yet this year, but they'll show up sooner or later...probably waiting for all the flowers to bloom! But anyway, your card is absolutely beautiful and you've colored that sweet hummer to perfection and the tulips too! Fitting background too! Lovely, lovely card as always my friend! Hugs. :0)

Fantastic garden scene, Bonnie. Your hummingbird looks really pretty thanks to your amazing coloring. Capturing the color changes in a hummingbird's feathers is incredibly difficult, and you did it perfectly. I also love the tulip flowers, they are also beautifully colored. The whole thing placed on an embossed background looks stunning, my dear Bonnie.

Such a beautiful hummingbird, Bonnie! I don't think we'll ever see them here in Hawaii so I'll just have to admire yours!

Your combination of embossing and dies makes it appear as though they all came from the same set. Perfect! Beautifully colored. Love the card-sized pattern of the embossing folder. So pretty all over!
