Birds for Krafty Chicks

Hi there.  It's week two of Guest Designing for Krafty Chicks.

This week Lori is host and she chose

I could have chosen chickens, but I went with bluebirds instead.

This is one of my favorite dies.

I started by using a sponge dauber to color the upper part of the birds and tails
and used a waterbrush to soften the color.

I swiped marker on my palette and picked up with a waterbrush to color the underside of
the birds and the branches with the light Spring leaves.

I've shaped the birds a bit and used dimensionals to pop them up.

Hope to see you over at the Krafty Chicks Challenge.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Your bluebirds are colored SO beautifully and just look perfectly content next to each other on the branch! Love the soft music background too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)

Your birds are gorgeous, Bonnie! LOVE the bright colours. The dry embossed background really adds some lovely texture. I have this stamp and I haven't had a lot of success with it. Thinking I need to get the die! :) Enabling me as always! :) Great job with your second week Guest Designing for Krafty Chicks! xx
