Have you played at CAS Christmas yet?
There's still a bit more time.
I'm hosting the challenge this month and this is what I chose...
I've used a die from my abundant stash of NBUS.
It cuts the windows and the holly.
A little watercolor with Zigs for the color and Stampin' Up! markers
to ink the sentiment and it was quickly done.
The icy looking background is a piece of packing foam.
I thought it added texture as well as dimension.
I'm also playing along with my friend Darnell's brand new
What a great idea to have this challenge every month!
Challenges:
CAS Christmas - Favorite Christmas Song
NBUS - Never Before Used Schtuff
Jingle Belles - Recycling for Earth Day
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Very creative to add the packing foam to add the texture of snow. I have this die and enjoy using it.!
I haven't, so thanks for the reminder!
I love your delicate looking holly against the snowy background and am intrigued that the die cuts the window as well as the holly. You've coloured it beautifully too.

Very original ad what a clever idea for the use of the packing. A lovely card with a difference Bonnie. x
Brilliant upcycling of the packing foam! Definitely adds texture and gives it that wintery look... almost like looking out of a window on a cold frosty day.
A very pretty look with the three windows and the prettily coloured die cut holly branch Bonnie. The packing foam looks just like a snowy background and works brilliantly. x
Fabulous card Bonnie, great die and the watercoloured holly and berries look wonderful against that 'snowy' packaging...great idea, hugs and stay safe Robyn
What a fabulous die to have in your arsenal Bonnie - and I love how you have used it, and the packing foam under it is genius, both for the texture, subtle sparkle and dimension
Stay safe

Beautiful card. I love the staggered frames. The packing foam is a great idea. It really does look frosty. I think I have some of that in my collection of packing materials. I'm going to try it on a card.
I thought that was packing foam as soon as I saw the card and that is so clever and perfect as your background. Great idea, Bonnie. The card is lovely and you picked a happy, catchy tune.
What a unique looking holly card...the icy looking packing foam adds such interest and what a clever idea to think of that...just another one of those magic Bonnie touches!

I would have never guessed in a million years that was packing foam! I thought for sure it was a coarse glitter paper, then of course I went hunting for that die (laughing). Fabulous job with that die that is now on my must have list! I must have cased you dozens of times and this one is on my to-do list right now! Thanks for the inspiration, Bonnie!
What a brilliant idea to use that packing foam for the background - it really looks like a snowy background! Love your card and love the way you coloured the holly branch.
How wonderfully creative - love that background> Looks as if the holly branch is laying on some freshly fallen snow. Now I have to go get on a sweater!

Terrific card, Bonnie! I've never seen a die with three windows that had something stretch across it, nor have I seen anybody use that packing foam -- fabulous idea! It absolutely adds texture and interest
What a unique die, Bonnie, and that packing foam was a brilliant idea to give a snowy background.
A really lovely card. Thanks for the idea of 3 windows and the packing foam use. I'll have to CASE your card.

Bonnie, you are so clever! I was wondering what you used to create the icy background. The holly looks very pretty, and I love that you used red and green for the sentiment.
