Seeing Stars

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This is a CASE of a card my friend Michele did.

I used cardstock for my background and die in my stash.
I did have to find a primitive star die.

I put a piece of vellum behind the lacy die cut to give a little contrast
to the background.

I like Michele's inked background a lot better, but my inking
usually leaves me disappointed.

What a gorgeous die, Bonnie! How did you get the gold border on the star? If done by hand you sure do have a steady hand. LOVE the effect you achieved with this! Beautiful card!

This is beautiful. Love the lacy die cut and primitive star. I like how you added the gold stars and the gold around the primitive star. It all works together so nicely. TFS

Beautiful card, Bonnie. The addition of parchment made the card even more delicate. The stars with the addition of golden glitter look great.

Why are we always so critical of our own work? this is lovely, different from Michele's but so it should be not better, not worse. I do like that die cut background xx

It is a relieve to see Christmas card in July, Bonnie. To cool down in this heat. :-) Fabulous card. I like vellum. It makes motive soft. I have to admit, that I missed some of your posts. But I saw them today. The vellum butterflies have stolen my heart. Hugs, Sonja

This is such a clever card...the mint macaron and vellum keep it soft and let the die "shine".
