Love and Hugs

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's the month for Valentines and  there is love scattered all around my studio.

This is what I did for the ladies in my Craft Group.

Since I needed to make four, I needed to come up with something fairly quick and easy.
(I'd waited until the last minute to do these.)

I used this die from my stash to cut the heart from Glimmer Paper.
(I'm sorry but I think it's retired.)

I used the background heart from the set to cut a piece of patterned paper to
tuck behind the open heart.  This paper is so pretty with the gold highlights and
I think it is still available from Stampin' Up!

I stamped the Love from my NBUS stamp and die set and heat embossed it
with gold, cutting the background from vellum and added a little gold jewelry to the
die cut heart.  The with hugs part was stamped and embossed
on a snippet from the same paper.

Want to see how it shines?

Challenges:
Four Seasons - Winter
Krafty Chicks - Stamp Act (Love is stamped and heat embossed)
NBUS #35 - Never Before Used Schtuff - Love stamp & Die

Card Recipe
Stamps:  So Much Love (SSS)
Ink:   Encore Gold
Paper:   Neenah, Textured (Bazzill), Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer, Expressions in Ink DSP (SU), Snippet of Gold Foil
Other:  Heartstrings die (C&9), Gold EP, So Much Love Die (SSS), Heart Punch

Enjoy!

I love that die, Bonnie. It doesn't obscure that beautiful patterned paper at all. Great idea to use some of it for the sub-sentiment. I'm sure the Craft Group ladies loved it.
