Pine Bough Joy

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I was excited to have a reason to pull out this NBUS die set that I got for
Christmas last year.  It's taken me far too long to put it to use!

I die cut the branches and pinecones from white cardstock and colored
with Copics.

I used the frame die that was in the same Christmas package.
It was it's first outing too.

I'm not going to wait so long to use this set again.
I love the way they go together.

Challenges:
CAS Christmas - Trina's challenge - Pine
Krafty Chicks #624 - Christmas
NBUS #41 - Never Before Used Schtuff (Pine dies)

I found this set when I was looking for pine in my lake stash. I guess I could make a third card for CAS Christmas with it. ;) I never thought to color the die cuts with Copics but it looks terrific, Bonnie. I love them all framed out with that fancy sentiment.

From the NBUS gallery, it looks like you went into the forest and snipped off a pine bough and attached it to your card, Bon! It is incredibly realistic and I love it with all that white and the pretty border frame! Hugs, Dolly

Beautiful card, Bonnie. Great coloring on the pine cone and needles and It appears that you cut extra pine needles to fill in the branch. That frame is just gorgeous too!
