Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
When I saw the mood board at Peace on Earth, I knew just what I wanted to do.
Then life interrupted that thought.
Life slowed down and fortunately this time the idea worked out.
I die cut this four layer snowflake from some blue glitter paper. The paper is pretty
thin so I had to cut another from white cardstock and glue the glitter cuts on top.
It was tedious but worth the effort.
The background is a piece of packing foam. It has an icy look, I think. that
works perfectly with the snowflake. I added a die cut sentiment cut from silver foil.
I captured the shine in the photo, but it ended up looking white.
Rest assured it's silver and so are some of the little dots.

I had no trouble finding your inspiration, Bonnie! What a perfectly wonderful execution - packing foam?? Who KNEW it could be so beautiful on a card? YOU!

What a fabulous layered star Bonnie so glittery and pretty, and the background definitely has an icy look to it and the silver die cut 'peace' and blue and silver dots make great embellishments. x
Beautiful blue glittery snowflake. Wow, packing foam for a background looks great. Very creative. TFS
Top right! And you've used that inspiration beautifully -- I'll bet it's even more gorgeous IRL due to being able to differ the silver sentiment from your ingenious white background!
This is very "COOL" Bonnie! What a smart idea to use packing foam. I was wondering what technique you did to have such a shimmery looking background! lol.
Packing foam. What a genius idea, Bonnie! And that glittery snowflake is gorgeous.
The snowflake may have been a bit of work with all the gluing, but totally worth the effort Bonnie...I love all that blue glittery sparkle! And packing foam??!! Brilliant idea...will definitely have to remember that one! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Gorgeous snowflake!
I laughed over "life interrupting" your thought. Happens to me all the time, then I lose my thought and can never seem to find it again!

AMAZING card, my friend. Well worth the effort of piecing all those layers. The glue glittery paper is so pretty and so is the fabulous detail on this snowflake. LOVE the packing foam background ... how creative!! It really does look icy! xx

This snowflake is gorgeous and I bow to you for gluing them to cardstock. That is a skill I don't have. I always have a mess. This turned out just beautiful!
Oh so pretty. The sparkle must look amazing IRL.
Beautiful winter card. The glitter and colors look like the card is covered in ice. WOW!
