Orange and Hot Pink for Just Us Girls

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I'm excited to be Guest Designing with the Just Us Girls team for this month.

The challenge this week is a color challenge and the colors are....

I placed this NBUS stamp into my MISTI and inked with Picked Raspberry Distress ink,
spritzed with water, and stamped.  Using a damp waterbrush, I smoothed the color a bit,
moved the stamp, spritzed again and did a second generation stamping.

I repeated this process with the orange ink.

When the piece was dry, I die cut it and dry embossed it to add more texture.

I found this orange twine in my stash and wrapped it around the mounted design

A die cut branch added just a bit of interest in the background.

This challenge is open until Wednesday.  If you're chosen Winner of the Week,
you'll get a chance to be a Guest Designer.

I hope you'll join us.  This is going to be a pretty gallery!

Challenges:
Just Us Girls #738 - Orange & Hot Pink
NBUS #65 - Never Before Used Schtuff (stamp and die)
Penny Black Saturday - ATG using Penny Black Products

These colors together are so happy, bright and cheerful. What a lovely card you made by spritzing and stamping, then stamping off.

Yay for you Guest Designing! I agree with Leanne, you are the Queen of spritzing and watercolor stamping. These flowers are so bright and cheerful. They remind me of my pink and orange zinnias in my veggie garden.
