Gingerbread Plaid

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Fall is in the air.  And Christmas is right around the corner!

My favorite Gingerbread Boy came out to play.

He's so easy to play with.  Just some simple stamping with embossing ink,
heat embossing and a bit of inking with leftover ink from a blending brush.
He's done up with candy hearts and gemstone eyes.

I've paired him up with a strip of Christmas plaid.

Another Christmas card for the stash.

Challenges:
Tic Tac Toe #331- Top left to bottom right (Plaid, Gingerbread, Enamel Dots)
Peace on Earth #50 - ATG Christmas

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Gingerbread Boy (Rubber Cottage), Happy Holly Days (HA)
Ink:   VersaMark, Brushed Corduroy (DOX), Cherry Cobbler
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Holiday Plaids (Photoplay)
Other:  Gingerbread Boy die (RC), Scallop Borders 2 die (Pretty Pink Posh), Subtle EF (ret SU), Hearts (ret SU), Enamel Dots (?)

Enjoy!

I just made a card yesterday for the TTT challenge. Haven't posted it yet. Your gingerbread man is much bigger than mine, Bonnie, and I love that he has hearts for buttons.

Gingerbread always screams Christmas for me - I love gingerbread men - their smell while cooking and their taste while eating! So many memories of childhood! You used a lovely bit of plaid there with the scalloped edge white panel over it - and that lacy outlined Gingerbread cookie is so sweet! Julia xx
