The background for this card was done with our GO7 Alcohol Ink on Gel Plate technique
from a couple of month's ago.
Since my hubby likes waterfowl, I went with this Lake Loon die and used the gel plate
background for the sky. The loon was die cut again from a snippet of watercolor paper,
fussy cut and colored with some watercolor pencils. Adding another layer to the loon
added extra depth.
I used a grass embossing folder to add some extra depth to the area around the die cut.

Absolutely fabulous masculine card, Bonnie. We saw a loon swimming on the lake yesterday. Do your kids call Bruce Pop? That's what my brother's called my Dad.

Bonnie, this is a gorgeous Father's Day card for Bruce! The AI gelli print background is perfect sky and water for the Loon. The subtle grass embossed texture of the front panel is a great finishing touch!
